Description
When you think of family crests, you might think of something from your own family, or if you're knowledgeable about history, you might think of famous warlords or great people. The nine bamboo leaves used by the Takenaka family, famous for Takenaka Hanbei, are prominently featured on the entire surface of the fabric in deep green and ominaeshi colors.
This 16-rib long umbrella features a bold, modern Japanese graphic design across the entire umbrella fabric. The handles are hand-joined by artisans to fit the 16 ribs, resulting in a beautiful seam. The shaft is made of natural Japanese pagoda tree (Prunus persica) for a comfortable grip. Not only is it comfortable to hold, but it also opens smoothly, even when lifted like a manual umbrella. The frame is made of lightweight, flexible fiberglass, making it durable and resistant to wind and rain. The black ribs make rust less noticeable, making this long umbrella both stylish and easy to use. It also features UV protection, making it suitable for use as a parasol in both sunny and rainy weather.
