The large lily and its tiny buds, with their soft petal textures meticulously rendered, are rendered using a technique unique to silver known as a white finish. The leaves, pistils, stamens, and stems, each with meticulous carving of each vein, are rendered in matte brass. The contrast between the soft gold and silver creates a luxurious feel. The sturdy brass shaft makes it easy to use even for those with long hair, and it can be used alone to hold hair in place. This kanzashi is easy to coordinate with Western clothing and yukata, regardless of the season. The lily flower is often used to describe beautiful women, as the saying goes, "When she stands, she is like a peony; when she sits, she is like a peony; when she walks, she is like a lily." This hairpin was designed to capture the graceful appearance of a white lily in full bloom. It has been carefully crafted down to the soft texture of the petals, the veins of the leaves, and even the stamens and pistils. The matte brass and unique white silver finish create a pure impression, just like a white lily. This hairpin is recommended for any occasion when you want to create an elegant look.
