Description
We have created a unique and never-before-seen silver hairpin that combines the shamisen, a representative Japanese instrument, with a skull that has a strong rock feel.
The shamisen's neck (sao, the neck of a guitar) and bachi (the pick) are intricately reproduced in brass. A silver chain, jet black onyx, and a silver skull, typical of Kasu Studio, hang from the sagari. When worn, the skull looks as if it is dancing or playing the shamisen. If you look closely, you will see that the wearer is even wearing tabi socks and geta sandals. This is a kanzashi that will bring out a sense of joy and boldly express the playful spirit of the wearer.
Designer's thoughts
The design is carefully crafted so that when displayed, it resembles a player playing the shamisen, and when used as a hair accessory, it is a charming skull dancing to the sound of the shamisen. We also experimented with how to assemble the stones that represent the musical score for "Furusato," and were particular about making sure that they sway joyfully along with the skull.

| Shaft Features | Although it is made of brass, the stem is flat, so you need to be careful with the amount of force you use. If you use too much force, it may bend or break. For those with long or thick hair, it is recommended to insert it into a half-up style or tied up, or as a second hairpin for a hairstyle. For those with shorter hair, it can be inserted into braids, etc. |
