Description
This is an original single-tsumami hairpin made using the traditional Japanese technique of "tsumami zaiku" and is only available at Kanzashiya Wargo.
Hairpins decorated with tsumami zaiku have been used as hair accessories to complement traditional Japanese clothing, including the flower hairpins (maiko kanzashi) that adorn the traditional Japanese hairstyles of maiko, and to add a touch of elegance to updos worn with kimonos. The traditional tsumami zaiku technique has been crafted into a single hairpin type that can be easily worn in everyday life. The wooden stem also makes this hairpin easy to wear even for beginners.
With a design that combines two-colored plum blossoms with rope, this traditional tsumami kanzashi is unique to Wargo and follows tradition while being easy to use in modern times.
It has a strong presence even when worn alone, and we also recommend pairing it with another hairpin to add more volume.
This hairpin is easy to match with everyday wear such as yukata and kimono, as well as formal occasions such as coming-of-age ceremonies and weddings.

| size | Shaft: approx. 15.2cm, motif: approx. 2.1cm, drop: approx. 6cm |
| Shaft Features | The stem is made of wood. The friction of the wood acts as a stopper, so it is recommended for those with soft hair who find it difficult to fasten with brass. Please note that it may break if you apply too much force. As it is a natural material, slight variations may occur between individual stems. |
*When using, please hold the shaft gently.
