Description
Bitter melon is known for its bitterness, so much so that it is also called "nigauri" (bitter melon). When sliced and stir-fried with eggs, tofu, and meat, it creates a bitter and mild summer dish, Goya Chanpuru. Inspired by this Okinawan dish, we created a cute and pop design accented with vibrant green slices of bitter melon and yellow bitter melon flowers.
This folding umbrella, suitable for both sunny and rainy weather, features a bold, modern Japanese graphic design on the entire umbrella fabric. The pattern is hand-joined by artisans to fit the frame, resulting in a beautiful seam. It opens with a push of a button, making it easy to fold for storage. It's also large enough to keep the back strap dry, making it suitable for both traditional and Western clothing. The frame is made of lightweight, flexible fiberglass for easy portability, making it durable and resistant to wind and rain. This folding umbrella combines design and ease of use, with features designed for portability that allow it to be used as both a rain umbrella and a parasol.
