Yukata are said to be worn in July and August, but did you know that when it comes to festivals, it's okay to wear a yukata in May or September? Festivals are often held at shrines that you don't usually get to visit, and they are a wonderful opportunity to experience traditional Japanese customs. Be sure to wear a yukata, a traditional Japanese garment, and enjoy this wonderful culture that continues to this day.
