Why we recommend wearing a yukata at home
It's not widely known, but yukata were originally worn to cool down after a bath, similar to bathrobes in other countries. To be honest, bathrobes are made of terry cloth, which makes them hot and heavy and difficult to wear in the summer, but yukata are different! They come in fabrics such as linen, cotton, and more recently polyester, making them perfect for staying cool after a bath until the sweat dries. What's more, if you're at home, you don't need to tie the obi tightly; you can wear it casually with just the waist cord! We hope you enjoy wearing a yukata at home this year!
Enjoy wearing a yukata with your children!
Why not dress your child in a yukata and create some summer memories? Your child will be happy to wear something different from usual. You can turn an ordinary day into a memorable one♪ What's more, you only need three things to make a child's yukata.
- Children's Yukata
- waistband
- Towel (optional)
